"Staying here for the second time. This guesthouse is still the best, atmospheric one for travellers who come to Siem reap to explore ancient temples." (Guest Review: June 2015)
"This is what hospitality should look like"
Baphuon Villa pays a small tribute to the early days of travel in the Asian region, a time when only the wealthy could explore and experience the enormous cultural, social, political and economic diversity which this region offers, but a region which is now accessible to all - and appreciated by all who have an open and enquiring mind.
Its images, artifacts and mementos not only reflect and celebrate the culture of Cambodia, but countries throughout Asia. The guest information, room numbering, posters and many of the objects on display are from the 1920s and 1930s, a more gentle age of travel, the colour choices being directly from the Art Deco period.
"a colonial charm and great value for money" (Guest Review: February 2015)
Very cosy, clean hotel with large number of interesting drawings and old photographs from Asian countries on the walls. Staff always ready to help. I didn't expect a hotel for this price to be so classy. I recommend it! (Guest Review: July 2015)
